It really seems a lifetime away but here are some of the fab things we got up to in Brittany (one of which was not the basic squat loos on the autoroute!):
Watching sun rise over the English Channel |
Giant hot dogs for a belated breakfast |
Intriguing sculptures at motorway stop |
Played table tennis |
Had fun on the waterslides |
Watched bizarre French/English entertainment |
Played on the beach at Carnac |
Swam in the Atlantic Ocean |
Looked in rock pools |
Discovered that steak hache et frites was burger and chips |
Ate a few galettes |
Drank some cider |
Jumped waves at sunset |
And that was just the first couple of days! More to follow...
Looks like lots of fun and good to see you got some good weather! Forgot all about galettes, they're tasty!

ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful! We went to Brittany this year and absolutely loved it! We weren't too far from here....near Vannes. Looks like you had lots of fun :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time. Is it me or does the cup of cider look like tea? I think I could handle drinking cider like tea lol. Not fancy just a burger when you ask for steak?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful holiday! I love the photo looking out of the window over The Channel, it's incredible!
ReplyDeleteOoh lucky you - I loved our holiday in France this year so am very jealous! It looks like you had a smooth crossing and the sunrise is stunning.
