Reasons to be Cheerful: Single with Kids in Pembroke

I have just come back from 2 weeks just outside Pembroke at the National Trust's Stackpole Centre as  co-ordinator for Single with Kids. The Internet there turned out not to be up to blogging so thank you at Michelle for coming to the rescue this week and hosting. Two weeks in a beautiful spot with nearly 100 people (not all at once!) has given us many reasons to be cheerful:


1) Tenby


Beaches, history and arcades - classic British seaside fun.

2) Barafundle Bay


Remote, clean and with wonderful sand.

 3) Pembroke Castle

4) Broad Haven South

Breakers, sandcastles and beach fun.

Not only that but making new friends and catching up with old ones has made us both very happy. I look forward to seeing what has made everyone else cheerful this week...

    I love Wales. Interestingly enough, when all the glaciers melt Wales will be the only country on the UK left entirely above water. Sounds like the perfect holiday for single mums and their children.

    Love Tenby, holidayed there many a time as a child because we had a caravan there. Went back a couple of years ago and hoping to make it a more regular haunt.

    Loving hearing your adventures as always. I'm getting back into it now, so expect a post this week :-)
