Reasons to be Cheerful 30 years of friendship #R2BC

Reasons to be Cheerful at Mummy from the Heart

It is definitely true that old friends are the best ones as it doesn't matter how often you see each other but when you get together its like you were never apart! In 3 weeks time it will be 30 years since I started at Beaconsfield High School and met the 4 girls who have been my friends ever since.

This weekend we were all together again for one of 3 times a year Sunday lunches. We had 8 of our 9 children with us and they all get on so well too being only a 7 year age range.

It made for many reasons to be cheerful as you can see by this photo:

My son seemed to be very happy being the only boy too:

I'm still in contact with my closest friends from secondary school - but we only get together about once every ten years as we are so scattered - 3 times a year sounds wonderful :)
