Back to school

Well the holidays are over and it was back to school for all of us today. It wasn't the best start to the day with an early rise to finish prepping house for the surveyor. To top it all it was a very soggy school run:

An incredibly full on day back at work after 2 weeks off but at least when I walk out at the end of the day the sky looked a lot more spring like:

The icing on the cake was the wonderful light on the lake at Windermere whilst we waited for my son's swimming lesson:

Feels like it must be bedtime already but the washing up and laundry beckon - the joys of being back at work!
