Pool and prizes - Days 35 & 36

As we are going to be stuck at home for the foreseeable future I bought us a replacement pool which arrived in the morning. I set it up in the garden and my neighbour let me fill it up with her hose. Whilst the water was warming in the sun we walked up the Helm:

This time we went all the way along the ridge and met friends on the way. When we got back I was so hot I tested out the still freezing cold pool:

I had to let the water out whilst in it as the pool was on too much of a slope! My son brought me tea whilst I was there:

Reasons to be Cheerful

Its Thursday so that means its Reasons to be Cheerful with the lovely Michelle hosting this week! A slight change next week as its back with me even though its still May. Then we are both having a week off so that we can make the most of the school holidays with our families! Meanwhile here are my reasons to be cheerful this week:
1) Bluebells
They are looking wonderful at the moment as they hit their peak. One of my favourite flowers to see whilst out and about:

2) A country run

I am enjoying being back in my happy place and getting longer runs in back in the beautiful countryside:

3) Friends get together

The weekend saw one of our high school get togethers with our families. Wonderful to catch up with friends that live so far away from me. The children all got on really well even to the extent of a collective hide from the obligatory group photograph:

Reasons to be Cheerful: Bluebells and Smiles #R2BC

Thanks to Michelle for hosting again this week! My life a bit bonkers so I keep forgetting which day of the week I am on so its a good job she is in charge for May.. Here my reasons for this week:
1) Parkrun
Last weekend I took a break from running and marshalled at our parkrun. As I was on the steepest part of the course it was a great opportunity to photograph everyone taking part (more pics on Flickr). This shot sums up our parkrun family to me:
