Friday Review: Christmas gifts from Find Me A Gift

Sponsored Post

When Find Me A Gift asked me to pick a couple of their festive gifts to review I knew instantly which one to look at first. The Star Wars Jedi Dressing Gown appealed to my geeky nature. I have to say I intended this for one of the grown up men in my family as its adult sized but my son was off sick the day I opened the box so this is what happened:

Jedi in training

He found it perfect for curling up in on the sofa to watch DVDs on his first day off sick:

He is a big Star Wars fan and loved being able to feel like a real Jedi:

Unfortunately he needs to grow into it a bit as its aimed at a medium to large man size and he is only the size of the average 8-9 year old:

I have tried it on my self and as a 5ft 8 size 14-16 it was a comfy fit with room to spare. The material is nice and soft and having had to wash it already it came out just as nice as when it went in the machine. Right now these are £24.99 and I think they would be a lasting gift to the Jedi in your life, and if you fancy a different style they have other tempting ones to choose from.

Next up was an I Love Spreadsheets mug which at £3.99 makes a great gift from a child to a parent or grandparent or good for Secret Santa. They are also in the 3 for 2 gifts offer so you could get yourselves a bargain:

They are nice big chunky mugs perfect for a warming cup of tea of mug of hot chocolate on a cold winter's evening:

Needless to say my daughter has already decided who is getting this on Christmas day from her!

Pets are a great way for children to take responsibility. We have a rat and a hamster owned by 2 of the boys and Theo is in charge of looking after the farm rabbits too. I hope your boy comes to love his guinea pig too.

  6. Guinea pigs are the only pets that I will entertain the concept of for a future pet for The Boy, they are intolerably cute and quite harmless. Hope your son enjoys his.

    Nipping over from Country Kids.

  8. My son has been asking for a hamster and a snake (not a good combo!) I agree it's important for children to have pets.

  16. I've never been a fan of guinea pigs pr gerbils, I guess the one that poo'ed on me in primary school spoiled them for me, but I do agree that pets are a great addition for the family. Amy loves our kitten to bits and she loves feeding her and taking on some responsibility x
