Haba toy review: Pony and gymkhana

Sponsored Post

My daughter was delighted to receive more additions to go with her Haba Charlotte doll. This time we were sent a foal named Sissi (approx £19.95) and a horse riding set (about £34.95). We weren't expecting this package so my daughter was very excited when we opened the mystery parcel.

Once again the toys are the high quality we have come to expect from Haba. The pony is designed to appeal to little girls with its pink flower patterns on it's body. My daughter has decided that it is a firm addition to her cuddly toy in bed collection!

She also enjoyed making the pony jump over the fences of the gymkhana set. There is a larger horse Paulina that Charlotte and her friends can ride but Sissi can just be schooled.

My daughter isn't as horse mad as many girls but she did enjoy this set. Her favourite part is definitely the pony. She may have made more use of the jumps with a bigger horse that the doll could actually ride.

I liked the fact that the jumps were easy to construct with wooden dowels threaded through material loops. The muted colours tone well with Charlotte's wardrobe too.

If you have a 3+ horse mad daughter then these would make a lovely birthday present.
