Reasons to be Cheerful: Feeling Fab #R2BC

Ojos World

So glad to have handed the hop over to the safe hands of Jo at Ojo's World for the month! Like me she understands the value of focussing on the little things that have made us happy in the week. Any way here are my reasons to be cheerful this week:

1) Operation House

I put in a lot of time to sorting out my kitchen on Saturday. This included sorting out some of the storage which has meant for clearer worktops. Still some way to go but even my daughter was impressed with the way it looked:

2) New vacuum

As part of Operation House I was pleased to receive the prize Miele at the weekend. My daughter has claimed it for her own and was the first to try it out. She loved the quietness and was able to easily clean the stairs:

3) Running

My running is really coming along now. Not only can I run much faster for short distances I managed to run 5k at fast steady pace (not beating my all time PB but fastest this year!). Either running on my own, with my new club or with my son I am just loving being out at the minute. So much so I have signed up for a 10k race on Valentine's Day!

4) Teaching

It's not all a bed of roses but I am really enjoying being in class. No day is ever the same and I get to randomly sing or burst into French. Seeing a child go from "I can't do it" to smiling because they have is fabulous. Being called Mrs B by a 4 year old who can't manage my name is adorable. Oh and we get to get messy:

  1. I love your running! The joy you get from it is so obvious. I also love a declutter, I'm working on the bedrooms at present x
