Reasons to be Cheerful: Appreciation, Lake District and gardening #R2BC

R2BC at Mummy from the Heart

Is it Thursday already? Doesn't seem like 2 minutes since the last link up! I will have to be more organised next week when I am back in charge.... Here are my reasons to be cheerful this week:

1) Feeling appreciated

Whilst its sad my contract came to an end at the lovely school I have been at since December it was lovely to be shown how much the children and staff appreciated me:

2) A still and sunny Fell Foot

After the previous week's wind and snow it was heavenly running at our parkrun this week:

3) Gardening
It has not been a good spring so far for gardening! I have finally been able to get out and finish sorting out the front edge of the front garden:

Now to wait until the cold snap is definitely over to put in the bulbs etc that I have bought for the bed...

4) Appreciating the Lake District

My fell running filming is enabling me to appreciate parts of the Lake District I have never been to such as Todd Cragg:

Its also becoming very sociable for me as people from many different clubs now know me as the YouTube lady!

5) Proud Mum

I have sporting achievements for both children this week! My daughter who says she can't run had a brilliant school cross country finishing 8th - I must get her to parkrun again... My son got the results of his athletics club internal Sportshall competition. He came first in 2 out of 10 events - chest push & javelin - for an all over 4th place. He got a special medal for winning so many:
