#CountryKids On the Beach at Robin Hood's Bay

Country Kids from Coombe Mill Family Farm Holidays Cornwall
Sunday was a good weather day and we spent a lot of it on the beach at Robin Hood's Bay:

The tide times didn't make for a long time on the sand but there was a chance to try to build tide defences:

and to have an ice cream from the van:

#CountryKids at Boggle Hole

Country Kids from Coombe Mill Family Farm Holidays Cornwall

Our first day at Robin Hood's Bay wasn't the sunniest but it didn't stop us from having outdoor fun! First of all though my excited daughter discovered that Ben Miller was also staying in the village and he kindly posed for a photo:

The official plan for the day was a walk to Boggle Hole. Due to the way the tides go we weren't going to be able to get there along the beach:

So we set off along the Cleveland Way which turned out to have an awful lot of steps:

Reasons to be Cheerful

I am a day late taking over from the lovely Michelle as I've just got back from a week at Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire! So apologies but I am here now and my reasons are all about our break and I will let the photos do the talking:

1) A beautiful beach:

2) Sandcastles:

3) Rainbow at sea:
