I was challenged by BritMums to find Christmas gifts for £5 or less from SportsDirect.com. Being a sporty family this was a perfect challenge for me! There are plenty of gifts listed in their Gifts Under £5 section but there are always plenty of items around the site that were £5 or less too.
First of all for my son, who is growing rapidly, I first of all found some bargain shorts (£5) for all the sport he likes to do:
Then as he often has incredibly muddy football or fell running shoes I bought him a proper sports shoe bag which had been reduced to £4.99:
As I had so far just bought for him I treated myself to decent running headphones for only £3:
A great way to keep the cost of Christmas down and fill up those stockings or get Secret Santa gifts!
A friend who has a big family of siblings and cousins, has big family Chanuka party in which gifts are exchanged. They put a modest price limit on Chanuka presents. Part of the fun is to find presents for everyone within the limit.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense and a great challenge
ReplyDeleteWe love Tenby but have only visited in the warmer months and it was spectacular on the beaches. Even though it was raining you still had fun and we love the arcades x #countrykids x
ReplyDeleteOn that looks like a lovely day with many happy memories #CountryKids
ReplyDeleteI have seen so many lovely summer pictures from Tenby and yes those body boards and wetsuits would be perfect, however this is the first time I've seen the town in winter. It looks rather bleak yet so refreshing to see it not crowded and the vast beach all to yourself. The medieval walls are really rather impressive and it looks like you found the perfect way to shelter from the autumn weather. I hope you make it back there again one day.

This is my perfect kind of day, all outdoor fun made using nature's finest ingredients! I'm so pleased you got to use those new wetsuits and body boards. It looks like the weather made quite a turn a round after Tenby and you made the perfect choice on where to go on which day. I bet everyone was starving by the time it came to the BBQ after all that sand and surf. This makes me want to pack up the car for a beach day this week, I hope the weather agrees!

Oh, I love Tenby so much! We went there during our honeymoon in 2015 and again last year when I was 6 months pregnant with LO. It's great to see recent photos of it, I'd love to visit again ASAP. #CountryKids
