Reasons to be Cheerful: Half Term Time #R2BC

R2BC at Mummy from the Heart

I am running a day late joining in with Michelle for my reasons to be cheerful this week as its been such a busy weekend! We've had a busy half term with plenty of reasons to be cheerful:

1) Time to socialise

I have already written about our day of fell running at Sedbergh. It's great being part of a great club and a bigger fell running family.  Every event is a social occasion for adults and children as well as celebrating great running:

2) Time with the family

The advantage of working in a school is that I get most of the school holidays off. A chance to have fun together or to just relax! My daughter and I strolled into town and grabbed churros and coffee at one of our local restaurants:

3) Time!

It's great not having to rush around every where for work, school and activities during the holidays. I managed both a walk and run up to Kendal Castle this week and it was lovely up there:

4) Time to protest!

My daughter and I joined in with the SEND National Crisis day by taking part in a march in Barrow. Let's hope the government and politicians listen to the young people and carers who were asking for a fair chance at and education:

Join In and Share the Happiness!

I love to read your Reasons to be Cheerful and it is easy to join in with no complicated rules -

1. Link up a post about something that is making you super happy/ grateful. It can be in this style or it can be anything you like

2. Add the #R2BC badge onto your post or blog so that people can easily find the linky and join in too if they fancy

3.  Share the love. This is the really important bit. Please don't just link and run, comment on at least a couple of posts and why not share with #R2BC too?

  2. I'm with you on school holidays. I'm already looking forward to the long summer break. I love that view from Kendal Castle. And I agree with Michelle - so important to make a stand for things you believe in. xxx

  3. Fair play to you for protesting, we've done it many times ourselves, I think it all helps. Love the view from Kendal Castle and I hope this week's return to work went well xx
